County officials say that the private company hired to process and distribute blank mail-in ballots to voters is behind schedule. The Trib reports that the first round of ballots from NPC in Claysburg was expected to be mailed to voters on September 29th, but they didn’t go out until October 2nd, with the second and third batches going out on the 9th and 12th repsectively. NPC representatives did not respond to a request for comment Tuesday. County officials say they will address the mailing delays after the election.
