FDA RECALLS CANS OF WALMART’S GREAT VALUE FRUIT COCKTAIL

The FDA is recalling more than 40-thousand cans of Walmart’s Great Value-branded fruit cocktail over elevated levels of lead contamination.  The notice says any consumption or exposure could “cause temporary or medically reversible adverse health consequences.”  The 15-ounce cans were distributed in stores across seven states, including Pennsylvania.  No other Great Value products are impacted in the recall.
