NEW CONTRACT APPROVED FOR PAID FIGHTERFIGHTERS IN JEANNETTE

A new contract is approved for the paid firefighters in Jeannette.  The new four-year deal will take effect at the beginning of next year.  Under the plan, the four career firefighters will get annual raises of 60 cents per hour, the same raise structure that is in place now.  This is the only paid fire department in Westmoreland County.
