LIGONIER TOWNSHIP PASSES RESOLUTION REGARDING AUTOMATIC FIRE ALARM CALLS

Ligonier Township officials passed a resolution to only have two of the township’s four fire departments respond to automatic fire alarm calls.  The Trib reports that this is due to the number of false alarms that are turned in.  Waterford and Ligonier Borough fire departments would be the first responders to those types of calls, while Wilpen and Darlington could be on standby.
