Pennsylvania drivers will have to stop a little further behind school buses going forward. A new law enacted this week slightly increases the Commonwealth’s School Bus Stopping Law from 10 feet to 15 feet. It applies to school buses that are stopped with lights flashing and its side arm extended. Penalties for not keeping enough distance will take effect in one year.
