PENN-TRAFFORD SCHOOL BOARD TABLES VOTE ON ADVERTISING PUBLIC HEARING

Penn Trafford School Board has tabled a vote on advertising a public hearing surrounding a recent proposal to close one of the schools.  The Trib reports that two plans that have been discussed include the closure of McCullough elementary while a third would close Level Green instead.  Dozens of residents say any potential savings from closing a school would be wiped out due to increases in transportation costs.
