Greensburg City officials are planning to introduce a revamped zoning ordinance soon. The Trib reports the process started in February of 2025. The goal of the rezoning was to better reflect Greensburg’s layout, provide continuity with rules in neighboring municipalities, and help turn the city into an 18-hour business district. The city’s nine-member planning commission will vote on it at a meeting on November 18th. If approved, the ordinance will go out for a public hearing on December 7th and will return to council the following week.
